Nepal-Papua New Guinea

Nepal and Papua New Guinea established diplomatic relations on April 12, 2013. Papua New Guinea was the 140th country to form bilateral ties with Nepal. The Permanent Representatives of Nepal and Papua New Guinea to the United Nations signed an agreement in New York to formalize diplomatic relations.

Multilaterally, Nepal and Papua New Guinea actively participate in the United Nations, the Group of 77 (G77), and the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), advocating for issues related to sustainable development, climate change, and economic growth.
