Former President Bhandari Off to China

Kathmandu: Nepal’s former President Bidya Devi Bhandari went to China for a 10-day visit on May 24. According to her Secretariat, former President Bhandari went to Beijing at the invitation of the International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China, leading a 14-member delegation.

Bhandari’s delegation includes some cabinet ministers, CPN-UML leaders, and other civil society members, including her secretariat. She has a plan to meet some of the senior leaders in Beijing.
