Nepal-Ethiopia

Nepal and Ethiopia established diplomatic relations on April 15, 1971, making Ethiopia the 49th nation to form bilateral ties with Nepal. The Embassy of Nepal in Egypt is accredited to Ethiopia, while the Embassy of Ethiopia in New Delhi is accredited to Nepal. Both Nations are active members of international organizations, including the Group of 77 (G77), the United Nations, and the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

Nepal and Ethiopia have a shared commitment to global peace, security, and sustainable development, as well as a mutual interest in advancing their cooperation in various international forums. As both countries continue to work together in international forums, there are ample opportunities to expand their bilateral engagement and explore new avenues for cooperation.
