A team of four former British soldiers has successfully summited Mount Everest in five days—a feat unimaginable in the previous decades.
The team, comprising Major Garth Miller, Colonel Alistair Scott Carns, Anthony James Stazicker, and Kevin Francis Godlington, submitted the world’s highest peak at approximately 7:15 am on Wednesday.
During the summit, the British team was assisted by a team of Sherpas, including Pasang Tendi Sherpa, Pemba Rinji Sherpa, Nima Nuru Sherpa, Gelu Sherpa, Pemba Rickchhen Sherpa, Karma Sherpa, Mingma Chhiri Sherpa, and Phu Dorji Sherpa.
