Preparations Begin for Nepal Art & Culture Festival 2025

The meeting was jointly led by Sagar SJB Rana, President of the Nepal Art Council, and Deepak Joshi, CEO of the Nepal Tourism Board.

Kathmandu: Preparations are underway for the Nepal Art & Culture Festival 2025, scheduled to take place from September 5 to 27. Key stakeholders gathered on May 13 to discuss the vision and planning for the upcoming event.

The meeting was jointly led by Sagar SJB Rana, President of the Nepal Art Council, and Deepak Joshi, CEO of the Nepal Tourism Board. It was attended by Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Sunita Dangol, Deputy Mayor of Bhaktapur Rajani Joshi, President of the Hotels Association of Nepal Binayak Shah, and Senior Vice President of the Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal Rajman Bajracharya.

The discussion focused on promoting Nepal’s rich artistic and cultural heritage and positioning the country as a global destination for cultural tourism.

The month-long event will showcase the richness of Nepal’s, particularly the Kathmandu Valley’s arts, culture, food, and festivals. All three metropolitan cities, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur, will come together to promote and organize a range of cultural activities, with a special focus on the Indra Jatra festival.
