Nepal-North Korea

Nepal and North Korea established diplomatic relations on May 15, 1974. The residential Embassy of North Korea was established in Kathmandu in the same year, but was later closed in November, 2023.

The Nepali Embassy in Beijing is concurrently accredited to North Korea. The relations between Nepal and North Korea have remained cordial and friendly.
