KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Nepal to India, Dr. Shankar P. Sharma, recently shared his honor of being part of the inaugural ceremony of the International Yoga & Meditation Festival, which took place at the world’s highest altitude.
The prestigious event was attended by notable figures, including the Governor of Bihar, Arif Mohammed, and Bhikkhu Sanghasena, the Founder-President of the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre.
In a heartfelt post on social media, Dr. Sharma expressed his gratitude, saying, “It was an honor to be part of the inaugural ceremony of the Int. Yoga & Meditation Festival held at the world’s highest altitude.” The event not only celebrated the spiritual and physical benefits of yoga and meditation but also highlighted the unique significance of its location at one of the highest points on Earth.
