Kesh B. Shahi Honored with Prestigious FBI National Academy Associate Life Membership

Shahi's association with the FBI National Academy dates back to 1996.

Kathmandu: In a proud moment for Nepal, Kesh B. Shahi has been awarded the FBI National Academy Associate Life Membership by FBI Legate New Delhi, Suhel Daud, on June 10, 2025.

Shahi’s association with the FBI National Academy dates back to 1996 when he joined as part of Session 185 and earned a diploma in Forensic Science, Management, and Mass and Media. In 2005, he became the first officer from Nepal Police to join the FBINAA Retraining Program and subsequently founded the FBINAA Nepal Chapter.

A decade later, in 2014, Shahi rose to become the President of the FBINAA Asia Pacific Chapter — the first from South Asia to hold the position. During his leadership, he also successfully hosted a major conference in the region, strengthening cross-border law enforcement collaboration and professional development.

The life membership award is a testament to his longstanding contributions, leadership, and dedication to the values and mission of the FBI National Academy Associates.
