Nepal and Haiti established diplomatic relations on May 23, 2007. Haiti is the 127th country to form bilateral ties with Nepal. Multilaterally, the two countries have been working closely at the United Nations and other intergovernmental processes, including the Non-Aligned Movement and the Group of 77.
Nepali peacekeepers have served under the aegis of the UN during the conflict era of Haiti. Nepal and Haiti have shared cordial and friendly relations.
