‘Nepal Has a Suitable Environment for Investment’ – Finance Minister Paudel Told Malaysian Investors

Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has urged Malaysian investors to invest more in Nepal’s physical infrastructure and tourism sectors.

While addressing the delegation of the Malaysia-Nepal Business Council currently visiting Nepal, Minister Paudel highlighted the strong potential in Nepal’s infrastructure development and tourism sectors and requested the investors to increase their investment.

“Nepal has a suitable environment for private sector investment. Our policies are investment-friendly. Identify the investment sectors and move forward with good preparation. The government is ready to support and facilitate,” said Finance Minister Paudel.

Members of the delegation expressed interest in investing in areas such as information technology, trade, hydropower, infrastructure, environment, and tourism. Pradeep Kumar Kukreja, Chairman of Malaysia-Nepal Business Council, was also present in the delegation. Chai Ki Khan, Ganesh Kumar Vangah, MK Sangrah, and others were also present.
