Ambassador Sharma Highlights Nepal’s Tourism Growth at Diplomatic Conclave 2025

Kathmandu: Nepal’s Ambassador to India, Dr. Shankar P. Sharma, spoke on heritage tourism and cultural diplomacy at the Fifth Edition of the Diplomatic Conclave 2025, held at Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport. The event, hosted by TravelJingles, brought together representatives from over 36 embassies.

The conclave featured two key panel discussions: Heritage Tourism and Bilateral Trading, offering a platform for diplomats to share ideas on strengthening global connections through culture and commerce.

Ambassador Sharma expressed optimism that Nepal’s tourist arrivals in the fiscal year 2024–25 are set to surpass the previous year’s figures. He also highlighted that India remains the top source of international tourists to Nepal.
