Softwarica College IT Exhibition Showcases Student Innovation

Kathmandu: The Information Technology Exhibition organized by Softwarica College of IT and E-Commerce has concluded successfully, drawing widespread attention and praise. 

Held under the theme “Embrace Opportunities, Enhance Capabilities,” the event highlighted creative innovations developed by students, including software applications, AI-based tools, and cybersecurity systems.

According to a statement issued by the college, throughout the week-long exhibition, a large number of students, parents, teachers, and IT enthusiasts visited the venue. Students showcased practical and advanced technologies such as AI-powered CCTV cameras, anti-hacking protection systems, emergency drones, and education management software.

College Chairperson Bigyan Shrestha shared that the AI CCTV system, capable of facial recognition and activity analysis, drew strong interest from visitors and has promising uses in security for industrial and commercial settings. “This exhibition has shown how students can turn academic knowledge into real-world solutions,” he said.

Visitors praised the students’ innovative thinking and the college’s role in promoting hands-on learning. Parents appreciated the platform for allowing students to display their creativity and build professional confidence.
