UNESCO, Japan Meet to Discuss Cultural and Educational Ties in Nepal

Kathmandu: The UNESCO Representative to Nepal, Jaco du Toit, met with Japanese Ambassador Maeda Toru to discuss cooperation in key sectors in Nepal.

The meeting focused on exploring various domains for cooperation, including safeguarding Nepal’s intangible cultural heritage, greening education, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), climate disaster risk management and preparedness, and advancing digital transformation in Nepal.
