UN-OHRLLS High Representative Meets NPC Vice-Chair Adhikari

Kathmandu: The High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Rabab Fatima, met with Dr. Shiva Raj Adhikari, Vice-Chairman of Nepal’s National Planning Commission.

To discuss Nepal’s preparations for graduating from the Least Developed Country (LDC) category and its priorities for the upcoming Programme of Action (PoA) for Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs).

During the meeting, High Representative Fatima assured full support from the United Nations Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries, and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS) to Nepal.

She also expressed Nepal’s active engagement and looked forward to its participation in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), to be held in Awaza, Turkmenistan, from August 5 to 8.
