FAO and FECOFUN Meet to Promote Community-Based Forest Management in Nepal

Kathmandu: The Country Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for Nepal and Bhutan, Ken Shimizu, met with Thakur Bhandari, Chairperson of the Federation of Community Forestry Users Nepal (FECOFUN).

The meeting focused on reinforcing the longstanding partnership between FAO and FECOFUN in advancing community-based forest management and fostering inclusive, participatory governance in Nepal’s forestry sector.
