Ambassador Thapa Chairs ECOSOC 39th Plenary Meeting

Kathmandu: The 39th plenary meeting of the 2025 Management Segment of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) was chaired by Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa, Nepal’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Vice-President of ECOSOC.

The program of the Management Segment meeting addressed a range of reports, acted on key recommendations, and conducted elections to fill vacancies in the Council’s subsidiary bodies.
