Vietnamese Vice President to Pay Official Visit to Nepal

Kathmandu: At the cordial invitation of Vice President of Nepal Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vo Thi Anh Xuan, will pay an official visit to Nepal from August 23 to 25, 2025. This will mark the first-ever highest-level visit from Vietnam to Nepal.

During her stay, Vice President Xuan and Vice President Yadav will lead their respective delegations at the Nepal-Vietnam bilateral meeting on August 24 in Kathmandu. She will also call on and hold courtesy meetings with high-level dignitaries of Nepal.

The visit carries added significance as Nepal and Vietnam celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.

Vice President Xuan will conclude her official engagements in Nepal and depart for Hanoi on August 25, 2025.
