Delhi Crime Branch Busts Visa Fraud Racket Targeting Nepali Citizens

Kathmandu: In a breakthrough, the Eastern Range–I (ER-I) of the Crime Branch, Delhi Police, has busted a fraudulent visa syndicate that was cheating Nepali citizens with fake promises of lucrative jobs in Serbia.

During the swift operation, the prime accused were arrested, and 13 Nepali passports along with incriminating digital evidence were recovered. According to police, the racket defrauded 19 Nepali nationals of nearly ₹70 lakhs.

Inspector Lichhman led the operation under the supervision of ACP Sunil Shrivastava and DCP Vikram Singh.

Moreover, Delhi Police stated that this decisive action sends a strong message that no fraudster can escape the arm of justice.
