Indrajatra Preparations at Basantapur Durbar Square

As Indrajatra approaches, Basantapur Durbar Square is alive with vibrant preparations. Temples are being freshly painted, arches refurbished, and the grand chariots for the upcoming Rathjatra are undergoing meticulous repairs and arrangements. Marking the official commencement of the festival, the Indra flag was ceremoniously hoisted at the auspicious hour of 10:31 a.m. on Dwadashi last Thursday, setting the stage for the much-anticipated celebrations.
