Kathmandu: Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli had a bilateral meeting with Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, in Tianjin, on September 1.
The two leaders exchanged views on enhancing Nepal-Russia relations, with particular focus on promoting cooperation in culture, trade, and investment. Both sides emphasized the importance of building mutually beneficial partnerships that would contribute to strengthening economic and diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
The meeting highlighted Nepal’s intent to broaden its international partnerships, while Russia expressed readiness to support deeper cooperation in sectors of common interest.
