Kathmandu: The U.S. Embassy in Nepal hosted a gathering of health partners to reaffirm its shared commitment to advancing Nepal’s health sector and promoting stronger health systems.
Speaking on the occasion, Patrick Gan, Regional Environment Hub Chief, announced that he will lead USAID’s legacy health programs in Nepal, supported by regional and global health experts. These programs will continue to focus on critical areas, including HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, and global health security.
The Embassy emphasized that the United States, working in close partnership with the Government of Nepal and other donors, remains committed to strengthening Nepal’s health systems and supporting the country’s path toward self-reliance in delivering quality health services.
