Securing a momentous victory for Nepal, the women’s national team of Nepal celebrate their spot in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifiers. This came after a thrilling five-wicket win over the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Batting first, UAE posted a target of 114/7 in the allotted 20 overs, with 4 crucial wickets being taken by the emerging standout performer Manisha Upadhyaya, followed by Kabita Kunwar with an impactful 2 wickets.

Chasing the 115 in the second round, Nepal reached the target in 19.3 overs, finishing at 115/5 to script a historic win. Furthermore, the Global Qualifier is now set to feature ten teams, with the top four earning a place in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
