Kathmandu: CIJ Nepal has concluded a five-day training session for its eight journalist fellows. The intensive program focused on key aspects of investigative reporting, including identifying story ideas, pitching, writing, and editing.
As part of their ten-month fellowship, the fellows will produce in-depth reports on pressing local issues from all seven provinces.
The initiative is supported by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which expressed its commitment to fostering a strong and professional media sector in Nepal.
