Kathmandu: The International Labour Organization (ILO) Country Office for Nepal celebrated Teej with its staff, highlighting the cultural significance of the festival. Numan Özcan, the Director of the ILO Country Office for Nepal, joined the celebration as well.
Teej, one of Nepal’s major festivals, is celebrated by women with fasting, singing, and dancing. It is considered a time of devotion, prayer for family well-being, and the strengthening of social and cultural bonds.
