Nepal and the Commonwealth of Dominica established diplomatic relations on April 30, 2021, making Dominica the 169th country to establish bilateral ties with Nepal. The agreement was signed through a Joint Communiqué by Amrit Bahadur Rai, Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations, and Loreen Ruth Bannis-Roberts, Permanent Representative of the Commonwealth of Dominica to the United Nations at the Permanent Mission of Nepal to the United Nations in New York.
Multilaterally, both Nepal and Dominica are members of the Group of 77 (G77) and the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). As Nepal and Dominica continue to deepen their ties, they can serve as strong partners in advancing shared goals on the global stage.
