Kathmandu: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Supreme Court of Nepal and the Supreme Court of India in the presence of the Chief Justice of Nepal, Prakash Man Singh Raut, the Chief Justice of India, Sanjiv Khanna, and the Minister of State for the Ministry of Law and Justice of the Government of India.
According to the Embassy of India in Nepal, the MoU provides an institutional framework for strengthening the judicial cooperation between Nepal and India, including areas of training and capacity building, regular exchanges, and sharing of best practices.
