KATHMANDU: Prominent women’s rights advocate and a CEDAW member Bandana Rana served as a resource person at the Nepal–Sri Lanka Workshop on Women, Peace and Security (WPS) and National Action Plans (NAPs).
The workshop provided an opportunity to reflect on Nepal’s WPS journey and exchange experiences with Sri Lanka, particularly following the recent CEDAW review of both countries in February 2025.
Rana emphasized the value of shared learning and collaboration, noting that a South Asia regional WPS partnership could be a vital next step in advancing the agenda across the region.
