First Two Nepalis Evacuated from Iran Arrive in Delhi

Kathmandu: The first two Nepali citizens, Ganesh P. Pokhrel and Suman Gaire, both originally hailing from Butwal, Nepal, evacuated by the Government of India, arrived in New Delhi on June 24 from Massad, Iran.

They were received at the airport by officials from the Nepali Embassy and India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The two have now departed for their hometown, Butwal.

Nepal has expressed gratitude to MEA India and the Embassy of Iran in India for their support.
