Honorary Consul General of Nepal Ghouzayel Meets Lebanese Defense Minister

Kathmandu: The Honorary Consul General of Nepal in Lebanon, Sheikh Mohamed Wissam Ghouzayel, paid an official visit to the Lebanese Minister of National Defense to convey Nepal’s greetings and best wishes for Lebanon’s peace and stability.

The Minister expressed appreciation for the role of the Nepali battalion serving with UNIFIL in Meiss El Jabal, praising their contribution to peacekeeping and community engagement.

The two also discussed cultural ties between Nepal and Lebanon, highlighting shared connections to mountains and nature.

Consul Ghouzayel thanked the Minister for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation.
