Ambassador Dr. Dhakal Visits Elcano Royal Institute in Madrid

Kathmandu: Ambassador Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, President of the International Relations and Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGGD) and Former Ambassador of Nepal to Spain and Oman, paid an official visit to the Elcano Royal Institute, Spain’s leading think tank in international and strategic affairs.

During the meeting with senior representatives, both sides explored opportunities for academic collaboration, policy dialogue, and research partnerships. The discussion focused on shared priorities in areas such as small-state diplomacy, global governance, cultural diplomacy, and South Asia–Europe relations.

The visit marked the beginning of a potential partnership between IRGGD and Elcano, aiming to promote intellectual exchange and deepen strategic ties between Nepal and Spain through think tank diplomacy.
