Kathmandu: Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Tae-young Park, attended the 10th edition of ‘Echoes in the Valley’, Kathmandu’s renowned music and culture festival, on January 23. The festival showcased a rich blend of traditional and contemporary performances, celebrating cultural diversity and artistic expression.
A highlight of this year’s event was the performance by the Korean group Allta-Neok, which captivated the audience by expressing traditional Korean emotions through a modern musical interpretation. Reflecting on the festival, Ambassador Park underscored its significance in preserving Nepal’s traditional sounds and cultural heritage. He also expressed his expectation that such platforms would further strengthen and expand cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Korea and Nepal.
