Kathmandu: A one-day seminar titled “The Role of the National Defense University in Nepal’s National Security, National Unity and Prosperity” was held at the Nepali Army Headquarters, on January 21, bringing together diplomats, professors, researchers, and experts in security and strategic affairs.
The seminar focused on the prospective role of the proposed National Defense University in strengthening Nepal’s national security framework, fostering national unity, and contributing to long-term prosperity through research, policy dialogue, and strategic education
Concluding the seminar, COAS General Ashok Raj Sigdel expressed the view that the National Defense University would prove to be a milestone in developing a common understanding amongst all the concerned authorities to enhance national security.
