Kathmandu: In a first for Nepali cricket, the national team will take on the West Indies in a three-match T20 International bilateral series in Sharjah, UAE, scheduled for September 27, 28, and 30, 2025.
The series has been made possible with the strong support of the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB), which has provided world-class facilities, technical assistance, and organizational expertise to ensure the matches run smoothly. This support highlights the UAE’s role as a premier destination for international cricket and strengthens Nepal’s engagement with top-tier cricketing nations.
Paras Khadka, Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal and former captain, expressed gratitude to both the West Indies Cricket Board and the Emirates Cricket Board for facilitating this historic opportunity. Cricket West Indies also praised the collaboration as a positive step in promoting the game globally.
This landmark series offers Nepal crucial international exposure ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier and reflects the growing stature of Nepali cricket on the world stage.
