Kathmandu: The Nepal Sports Summit Committee has officially announced the Nepal Sports Summit 2026, scheduled to take place on February 05, 2026, at Soaltee Hotel Private Limited, Kathmandu.
According to the organizer, this historic summit will be Nepal’s first structured national sports convergence platform, bringing together high-level diplomats, international delegates, corporate leaders, government officials, sports administrators, media professionals, and global stakeholders under one roof.

As per the details, the summit will feature five high-level panel discussion sessions—Sports Diplomacy: Strengthening Global Relations Through Sports; Sports Infrastructure: Building Nepal’s Sports Infrastructure Ecosystem; The Rise of Emerging Sports: From Niche to Mainstream; Media & Broadcasting in Sports: Media & Corporate Role in Sports Growth & Monetization; and Sports Content & Influencers: Power of Digital Sports Storytelling—which will be held.

The names of panelists for each session will be announced progressively through the official Nepal Sports Summit social media platforms and dedicated press releases. Speaking on the announcement, Aamir Akhtar, Organizer of Nepal Sports Summit 2026, said, “Nepal Sports Summit 2026 is not just an event; it is a national movement to align sports with diplomacy, tourism, and economic development. Our vision is to connect Nepal’s sports ecosystem with global opportunities and unlock international collaborations that can reshape the future of sports in the country.”

Moreover, Bhaskar Rajkarnikar, Organizer of the Summit, added, “This summit will create a structured dialogue between policymakers, investors, sports leaders, and global institutions. Nepal has natural advantages, youth energy, and global goodwill. NSS 2026 will convert that potential into actionable partnerships and long-term growth.”

During the Summit, diplomats and international missions, corporate leaders and global investors, government officials and policymakers, international delegates, and sports industry stakeholders will participate, says the organizer.
