Rabindra Dhant Wins Bantamweight Title at Matrix Fight Night

Kathmandu: Nepali MMA fighter Rabindra Dhant has made history by winning the bantamweight championship at India’s prestigious Matrix Fight Night.

In the event held in Noida on August 2, Dhant knocked out India’s defending champion Chungreng Koren just 54 seconds into the third round. The match had been intense in the first two rounds, with both fighters showing strong performances.

Following the victory, Nepal’s Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli congratulated Dhant on his remarkable achievement.
