Nepal and Eritrea established diplomatic relations on October 31, 2017.
The diplomatic ties between both the countries are expected to deepen understanding between the two peoples and foster mutual benefits in various sectors.
The two countries formally recognized each other through a joint communiqué signed in New York, with both nations’ Permanent Representatives to the United Nations present. With the aim of both of the nations to strengthen their cooperation at international forums, such as the United Nations.
