Nepal-Colombia

Nepal and the Republic of Colombia established diplomatic relations on May 7, 1987. Colombia is the 95th country to form bilateral ties with Nepal.

The Nepali Ambassador to Brazil resident in Brasilia is accredited to Colombia and the Colombian Ambassador to India resident in New Delhi is accredited to Nepal.

Multilaterally, Nepal and Colombia share common views on many international relations. Both countries are part of G-77.

In response to Nepal’s call for international support in the aftermath of the 2015 earthquakes, Colombia extended support through the UN Central Emergency Response Fund. The relations between the countries have been based on confidence and goodwill.
