Kathmandu: Ambassador of Norway to Nepal, Dagny Mjøs, accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission Kristine Storholt, paid a courtesy call on Right Honourable Prime Minister Sushila Karki on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the longstanding and friendly bilateral relations between Nepal and Norway, reaffirming their shared commitment to deepening cooperation. The Norwegian Embassy reiterated Norway’s continued support for Nepal’s democratic values, including the rule of law, inclusive governance, and the promotion of gender equality.
Ambassador Mjøs also reaffirmed Norway’s support for Nepal’s free and fair electoral processes, underscoring Norway’s commitment to strengthening democratic institutions and political participation in Nepal.
