Kathmandu: The Ambassador of Switzerland to Nepal, Dr. Danielle Meuwly, paid a courtesy call on the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on April 7.
During the meeting, Ambassador Dr. Meuwly conveyed warm greetings from the Foreign Minister of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis, congratulating Minister Khanal on his appointment as Nepal’s Foreign Minister.
The two officials held discussions on strengthening the longstanding friendship and enhancing cooperation between Nepal and Switzerland. They also exchanged views on further deepening bilateral ties across areas of mutual interest.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to continue fostering their close and cordial relationship.
