Kathmandu: H.E. Lok Bahadur Thapa, UN ECOSOC President, chaired a monthly meeting with the Major Groups and other Stakeholders (MGoS), held in person during the HLPF after the regular virtual engagements throughout his Presidency
President Thapa reaffirmed that inclusive, meaningful and sustained stakeholder engagement is indispensable to advancing the SDGs and strengthening multilateral cooperation. He also thanked MGoS for their invaluable contributions to the Partnership Forum, Youth Forum, Financing for Development Forum, STI Forum and HLPF, and for their constructive partnership throughout my Presidency.
