Kathmandu: The newly appointed UNFPA Representative to Nepal, Sriram Haridass, presented his Letter of Credence to the Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, at the Ministry on July 14.
Following the presentation of credentials, UNFPA Representative Haridass paid a courtesy call on the Minister.
During the occasion, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the long-standing partnership between Nepal and UNFPA. They also exchanged views on ongoing cooperation and future priorities, with particular emphasis on Nepal’s population dynamics, demographic dividend, youth and ageing population.
Minister Khanal appreciated UNFPA’s continued support to Nepal and wished Representative Haridass a successful tenure in Nepal.
