Kathmandu: The 17th All Nepal Japanese Language Karaoke Competition was organized by the Japanese Language Teachers’ Association, Nepal (JALTAN) on January 31. A total of 17 young participants showcased their talents with lively and impressive performances.
Shinto Yasuharu, Charge d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of Japan in Nepal, attended the program as the chief guest. He congratulated the award winners and encouraged all participants to continue learning the Japanese language and culture.
Speaking on the occasion, Shinto noted that 2025 marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Nepal. He invited everyone to take part in various commemorative programs planned throughout the year.
