Kathmandu: The Nepalese Government expressed profound sorrow over the loss of lives and injuries caused by the devastating 7.7 magnitude earthquake and multiple aftershocks that struck Flores Island, Indonesia.
They said, “Nepal, having experienced the devastating impact of earthquakes, deeply understands the suffering caused by such natural disasters and extends its solidarity and sympathy to the Government and people of Indonesia at this difficult time.”
The Government and people of Nepal conveyed their deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a speedy recovery, and the affected, missing and displaced persons safety, relief and early rehabilitation.
