AFCAN Presents Report on Nepal’s Soft Power to Foreign Secretary Rai

Kathmandu: Bhagirath Basnet, Chairperson of the Association of the Former Career Ambassadors of Nepal (AFCAN), handed over a report titled “Nepal’s Soft Power: Identifying the Potentials and Gaps” to Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July 13.

The report outlines areas where Nepal can strengthen its soft power by leveraging its cultural heritage, values, and global goodwill.

Foreign Secretary Rai thanked AFCAN for the timely and insightful contribution, noting its relevance in enhancing Nepal’s public diplomacy and international outreach.
