Aloft Kathmandu Thamel Hosts US–Nepal Gastronomy Exchange 2025, Showcasing Global Culinary Collaboration

Kathmandu: Aloft Kathmandu Thamel hosted the US–Nepal Gastronomy Exchange 2025, a vibrant culinary event that united Michelin-starred chefs from the United States, France, Singapore, Dubai, and Nepal. The program celebrated cross-cultural collaboration through cuisine, creativity, and innovation.

The main attraction, La Grande Bhoj, took place on November 9 at Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, offering guests a seven-course menu that reinterpreted traditional Nepali flavors with a global touch. The menu was co-created by Chef Arjun Kumar Ranabhat, President of the US–Nepal Gastronomy Chefs Association, and Chef Rajeev Shrestha, Executive Chef of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel.

“It was a privilege for Aloft Kathmandu Thamel to host this event and welcome some of the world’s finest chefs,” said Vikram Singh, General Manager of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel. “This collaboration highlights our dedication to showcasing Nepal’s culinary artistry and positioning Kathmandu as an emerging hub for global gastronomy.”
