Amb. Dr. Dhakal Visits CIDOB – Barcelona Centre for International Affairs

Kathmandu: Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, former Ambassador of Nepal to Spain and Oman and the President of the International Relations and Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGDD) and the Ambassadors Club Nepal, paid a courtesy visit to CIDOB – Barcelona Centre for International Affairs, one of Europe’s leading think tanks in the field of international relations.

During the visit, Dr. Parajuli Dhakal explored potential avenues for collaboration between CIDOB and IRGDD, especially in areas such as small state diplomacy, sustainable development, migration, and peacebuilding. She appreciated CIDOB’s role in shaping global discourse through research, publications, and policy dialogue.

The visit reflects her ongoing commitment to fostering international partnerships between Nepali institutions and global think tanks to amplify Nepal’s presence and contributions in global affairs.
