Kathmandu: President of the Ambassadors Club Nepal, Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, received former Secretary Amb. Chandra Kumar Ghimire at the office on March 9. They held discussions focusing on economic diplomacy and Nepal’s economic engagement with the international community.
During the meeting, Amb. Chandra shared his insights on the importance of strengthening trade diplomacy to promote Nepal’s economic interests globally. The discussion also touched on the role of diplomatic missions in expanding trade partnerships, attracting foreign investment, and enhancing Nepal’s presence in international markets.
Amb. Dr. Sarmila highlighted the significance of dialogue among experienced diplomats and policy experts in shaping Nepal’s economic diplomacy. Both sides also reflected on Nepal’s evolving diplomatic priorities and the need for coordinated efforts among government institutions, diplomats, and the private sector to advance trade-driven development.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to continuing dialogue on issues related to diplomacy, international cooperation, and economic development.
