Kathmandu: The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, Ghanashyam Bhandari, attended the Saraswati Puja celebration organized by the Officers’ Club Dhaka on January 23.
As the special guest, Ambassador Bhandari extended greetings and best wishes to participants and highlighted the strong cultural ties between Nepal and Bangladesh, emphasizing the festival’s significance.

Earlier in the day, Ambassador Bhandari visited the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) to participate in a Nepali-style temple-themed Saraswati Puja celebration organized by students.
Addressing the gathering, he underscored the importance of Saraswati Puja in honoring the pursuit of knowledge and commended students for promoting Nepal–Bangladesh cultural relations through the display of idols of Goddess Saraswati, Goddess Kumari, Kalvairab, Harit Tara, and Lakhey.
