Kathmandu: The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Nepal, Tae-Young Park, attended the Completion Ceremony of the Multipurpose Indoor Gymnasium at the 16th Um Hong-Gil Human School, Prithivi Narayan Secondary School, in Tarkeshwor Municipality.
The Um Hong-Gil Human Foundation, established in 2008, has contributed to Nepal’s educational development by constructing and expanding 20 Human Schools.
Addressing the ceremony, Ambassador Park highlighted the key role that education has played in Korea’s national progress and shared his hope that the newly built gymnasium would inspire and allow the students to grow into talented individuals for Nepal.
The event marked another milestone in the collaborative efforts between Korea and Nepal to enhance educational infrastructure and opportunities for the younger generation.
