Kathmandu: Ambassador of Nepal to Canada, H.E. Bharat Paudyal, welcomed the launch of Remit 123, a Nepali diaspora-owned remittance company in Canada. Ambassador Paudyal stressed on secure, efficient and accessible formal remittance channels in strengthening the Canada-Nepal economic partnership.
He encouraged collaboration among remittance companies, financial institutions and relevant stakeholders to make remittance transfers transparent, reliable and cost-effective. Earlier, on 8 August, he launched Remit123 by downloading its app at the Himalayan Mela.
